To provide current students with the opportunity to engage directly with recruiters, share CVs and attend information sessions on job search strategies, the IIE MSA’s Career Services recently hosted a Career Fair on campus. The fair, which featured over 20 companies including BDO South Africa, South African Red Cross Society, Standard Bank and ABSA attracted many students eager to explore career and internship opportunities. IIE MSA is an educational brand of the Independent Institute of Education (The IIE).
Said Beyonce Mwale (third year IIE Bachelor of Social Sciences student at the IIE MSA campus): “The highlight of the event was the CV and LinkedIn Review Café, which was a unique opportunity for me to sit down with company representatives for personalised feedback. It created an engaging experience, and I found it incredibly valuable”.
As the day wrapped up, students left with newfound connections, clearer career goals and a better understanding of the career paths available to them. The Career Fair continues to be a valuable stepping stone for students planning their futures beyond graduation.
