The creative spirit was alive at IIE MSA Ruimsig last week as students transformed the campus into a celebration of art, imagination, and environmental awareness. Hosted by the Green Globe Society, the exhibition featured a stunning mix of paintings, digital designs, and live performances that invited guests to see the world through the eyes of emerging young artists.
Guest artist Allan Shonhiwa joined the students for the occasion, commending their creativity and dedication to using art as a tool for expression and social awareness. The showcase gave students not only a platform to exhibit their work but also a chance to gain recognition and connect with art lovers within and beyond the campus community.
For Sally Boluka, a third-year Bachelor of Social Science student and President of the Green Globe Society, the event reflected the vibrant and socially conscious culture of the university.
“This event was an expression of our vibrant campus community,” she said. “A highlight for me was spreading awareness of environmental issues through artwork made from recycled materials. The exhibition also allowed students to bond through their shared passion for art.”
The Green Globe Society continues to inspire creative ways of promoting sustainability and youth engagement proving that art can be both beautiful and impactful.
